Sheets are great

Got the twin XL sheets. They fit well. Washed them and they held up. Delivery was fast, got them in 3 days. Happy with the purchase.

Cute lumbar pillow

I needed a little something extra for my desk chair, so I grabbed one of their lumbar pillows. It's super cute, the print is exactly what I hoped for, and it feels pretty sturdy. It took about 5 days to reach my apartment in Austin, which was totally fine. It just adds a nice touch to my little study corner. I'm thinking about getting a matching throw pillow next time.

Good duvet, delivery could be faster

I ordered a full/queen duvet cover and some standard shams for my daughter's room. The quality of the fabric was quite nice for the price; it feels durable and the color was true to what was online. I was happy with the product itself. However, the shipping took a full week to get to us in California, which felt a bit slow compared to other online stores I use. It wasn't a huge deal, but something to note if you're in a rush. Overall, it's good value and the items look good.

Always reliable, great quality

I've ordered from Room 422 a few times now, mainly for dorm essentials. This last time I got a twin XL duvet and matching sheet set. Just like my previous orders, everything arrived quickly, about 4 days to NYC, and the quality was consistent. The fabric feels good, washes well, and holds up to a lot of use. Their items always fit the dorm beds perfectly, which is a big plus since some other brands cut corners there. It's why I keep coming back when I need new things for the kids' rooms.

Hey, thinking of getting one of their headboards for my dorm. Are they legit? Like, good quality, not some flimsy stuff?

M Marcus 2 months ago

Yeah, totally legit. I got one last year and it's holding up great. Much better than anything I saw at Target or something.

P Priya Vargas 2 months ago

They're real. My roommate had one and it was super solid. Not like those cheap fabric panels some places sell. You can actually lean on it.

Does anyone know if their student discount applies to the custom headboards? Or is it just for regular stuff?

G Gwen 2 months ago

I think custom items are usually excluded from most discounts, unfortunately. Worth checking though, sometimes they have specific custom deals.

M Mia Silva 2 months ago

Nah, pretty sure custom stuff doesn't get the student discount. It's usually for the ready-made things. I tried last year and it didn't work.

How long does shipping usually take for a custom headboard to, say, Boston? Trying to figure out if it'll get here before move-in.

J Josh 2 months ago

Custom items take a bit longer cause they're made to order. I'd factor in a few weeks, maybe even a month just to be safe.

A Alex K. 2 months ago

Mine took like 3-4 weeks to get to Philly, so Boston should be similar. Don't expect it super fast cause they're making it for you.

I'm torn between Room 422 and Dormify for dorm decor. Any thoughts on which one is better for a complete room package?

R Ryan 3 months ago

Room 422 is better for unique stuff, especially the headboards. Dormify is kinda basic sometimes. If you want more curated, go 422.

N Nick Carter 3 months ago

Dormify is good for sheer volume of options, but I think 422 has higher quality items, especially for the custom pieces. Depends if you want more choices or better quality, I guess.
